Bridal Shower
My Perfect Match
- Hand each of the
men a list of 20 "true" or "false" statements and have them write down
their answers. The statements should all be based on personal
preferences such as "I'd rather watch a great comedy than a great
drama".
- Once all
the questions are answered, blindfold the bride-to-be and have the
men form a single line behind her.
- Ask the
bride-to-be each of the questions
- For every
question that she answers ask the men standing in line behind her to
sit down if they answered the opposite. Continue asking the
questions until only one man is left standing behind her.
(tip: When only two men are left standing jump to a question where
the two men answered differently. This will guarantee that you
are left with one man standing behind the bride-to-be)
- Have the
bride-to-be turn around and pucker her lips. Have the man
standing in front of her give her a light (innocent) peck on the
lips.
- Have the
bride-to-be pull off her blindfold so that her "perfect match" is
revealed to her.
Go Nuts for Donuts
- Line up each of
the couples face-to-face with their hands tied behind their backs.
- Hang a powdered
donut from a string between each couple.
- When you say
"GO!" the couples must try to eat the donut together without moving
their feet whatsoever.
- The first couple
to finish their donut wins.
Couples Trivia
- Have the male
from each couple leave the room
- Pass out index
cards and markers to each of the females
- Read prepared
questions to the women regarding their spouses
- Invite the men
back into the room and ask them the same questions.
- A point is
awarded for each correct answer. The couple with the most
points at the end of the game wins a prize.
Baby Shower
Diaper Relay
- Split the couples
up into two teams and form two lines. (tip: create more than two
teams if it is a large party)
- Set baby
dolls on a table across the room along with diapers, baby powder,
and wipes. One doll for each team.
- Start the race by
saying "Go!" and have a person from each team run to the table, pull
the diaper off the baby doll, wipe it, power it up, put a new diaper
on it and run back to the team.
- The first
team to have all its members change the baby wins.
The Baby Song
- Pass out a piece
of paper and a pencil to each couple and have them write their names
on it.
- Say "Go!" and
give the couples 2 minutes to write down as many song titles that
they can think of with the word "baby" in it.
- Go over the lists
and for those song titles that you don't recognize or believe that
there is an actual song for, have the couple that wrote it stand up
and sing it. Let the crowd decide whether or not the couple
gets credit for the title.
- The couple with
the most accepted titles wins.
Diaper Teamwork
- Have each of the
couples put one arm around the other's waist and have them try to
put a diaper on a baby doll. The first one to complete the
task wins. To make the game as challenging as possible try to
use cloth diapers and safety pins.
